1999-2001 Empirix and Teradyne.  Conceived and built Internet performance testing software.
1983-1999 IBM Research Division.  Conceived, designed, and built a wide range of software and systems, including widely used end user software. Managed and operated several large scale computer mediated communication systems, including enterprise scale computer conferencing systems, telephone help desks, and electronic service and support systems. . Lead architect for IBM's billion dollar plus revenue business partner web site and portal.
1982-1983 Freelance writer, editor, and programmer. Customers included IBM, PC Magazine, Lifelines Magazine, and PC Reference.
1981-1982 International Resource Development. Editor/Journalist. Edited and wrote for biweekly industry newsletter: Electronic Mail and Message Systems.
